Apparently this is a pastiche Heinlein juvenile in which the author is deliberately switching round some of Heinlein's attitudes. #53 Hurricane Gold by Charlie Higson

Latest installment of the Young Bond series. It is a rather dull and linear story built around a single climactic set piece which is good but hardly enough to carry a whole novel. So a disappointment but I suspect it was still better than the new Faulkes one.
